What is Telephony/IVR?​

IVR stands for Interactive Voice Response. It can range from marketing promotions while on hold to simple voicemail messages for individual employees of a company. I am an award-winning IVR voice over actor with 10 years of experience in on-hold marketing and message systems.

In 2021, I had the honor of being nominated and awarded Best Male Voice Actor in Voice Over for the Telephony/IVR category at the One Voice Awards—an achievement I never thought possible when first pursuing my voice acting career.

So, next time you scream "REPRESENTATIVE!!!!" into your phone while on hold, try to think about the poor voice over guy on the other side just trying to do his job. 😉
