What is Telephony/IVR?​

IVR stands for Interactive Voice Response.  It can range from Marketing promotions while on-hold to simple voicemail messages for individual employees of a company.  I am an award winning IVR voice over actor with 10 years experience doing on-hold marketing and message systems.

In 2021, I had the honor of being nominated & awarded best male Voice actor in voice over in the Telephony/IVR category for the One Voice Awards.  Something I had before never thought possible when pursuing my voice over career.

So, next time you scream "REPRESENTATIVE!!!!" to your phone while you are on hold, try to think about the poor voice over guy on the other side of it just trying to do his job. ;)
